I want to address a pain many soul-o-preneurs experience but often struggle to identify: the pain of SMMB, also known as The Siloed Marketing of Marketing and Business Education. You see, it's not uncommon for various pieces of business and marketing education to be taught as separate entities, leaving you feeling overwhelmed and disconnected from the bigger picture.
Unveiling the Siloed Marketing Dilemma
Picture this: You're determined to grow your audience, and you stumble upon advice suggesting you should create a lead magnet. Encouraged, you dive into the process, focusing solely on this aspect. However, as you continue your research, you encounter additional pieces of business education, such as creating a landing page, developing an email sequence, crafting a premier service, and creating an email sequence for that premier service, all while making sure that your lead magnet leads them to your premier service, remembering that if they don't purchase your premier service within the first 5 emails that you have to continue to communicate with and nurture them, so you need to create an ongoing email sequence strategy for that, and then remembering that the opt-in page for your lead magnet needs to be optimized and that optimized lead magnet must lead to an optimized landing page, while being connected to optimized emails that all flow together and make sense and some kind of way, you need to figure out how to tie it all together in the most optimized tool and it all must make sense in the end, and so when you see all of these steps you think
I don't have time for this. I still have life. I still have to make money. I still have to serve the clients and customers I have right now...
So, you get overwhelmed, and you do nothing. Then because you do nothing, you judge yourself for being "lazy," "unmotivated," and "undeserving" of what you desire. - All LIES, by the way.
You're not lazy.
You're not unmotivated.
You're not undeserving.
You're simply just
Misinformed.
So then, what is the real problem here?
