Dear Soul-o-Preneur,

If you are a Copywriter, this one is especially for you.

Here are my thoughts on why most Copywriters struggle to make a full-time living as Copywriters ⬇️

Most copywriters are not thinking outside of the box. They spend so much time “trying to make a name for themselves” that they forget that money comes as an exchange for SERVING PEOPLE in ways that THEY want to be served and NOT from “being a great writer.”

The ways people desire to be served by writing in 2023 are NOT the same as they were in 2021.

Your short stories and your poems and your books and your screenplays and your occasional website copy offers are not gonna cut it anymore and they haven’t for a very long time now.

Also, viewing AI as an enemy instead of a tool that can SPEED up your process of giving people what THEY want is also a HUGE problem. The pride that is attached to your “original work created with blood sweat and tears” is keeping many of you from being PAID and PAID WELL.

Pride prevents PAYMENT.

And remember, SOMEONE has to prime the pump of that AI to produce a product worth consuming and only those with EXPERTISE in WRITING and those who can MASTER the ART of asking QUESTIONS that produce those Writings will win in the long term. What that means for EXPERT copywriters is that YOU have the advantage with using AI over those who do not have YOUR expertise.

In other words, REAL COPYWRITERS STILL WIN.

Note this:

Your won’t lose opportunities to AI.

➡️ You’ll lose opportunities to HUMANS who MASTER using AI because you refused to do so.

Also,

Understand that your 6 or 7 or 8 figures in writing may come with the caveat that NOBODY popular knows your name. You may not be not be the POPULAR, well-known, Feature-Film writer or newspaper editor or whatever other cool titles you may see,

However, Riddle me This:

Do you want to be a Popular, Well-Known writer

Or do you want to be a PAID writer?

You must choose, because in THIS day and age, they are more often times than not, NOT the same thing.
